A native of Goldsboro, Dr. Suneya Hogarty, returned to Wayne County in 2005. She moved back with her husband, Dr. David Hogarty, to be closer to family and enjoy that great NC hospitality!
Dr. Suneya graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1990. She completed a BA from Davidson College in 1994. The following year, she entered Kirksville College of Osteopathic medicine, from where she graduated in 1999 with a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O) degree. Afterwards, she moved to Michigan with Dr. Dave to complete residency in Internal Medicine and then to New Hampshire for Rheumatology Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. After all that cold weather, NC was calling her back home!

Using state-of-the-art treatments and medicines, she helps patients find relief from their physical suffering. But, she believes that true health is much more than that.
